The Grey Roots Regional Heritage Fair is a vibrant community celebration where local museums, historical associations, businesses and multicultural groups come together to offer displays, demonstrations, and entertainment. The event begins with the opening ceremonies followed by a showcase and adjudication of student projects. Following adjudication fair participants and registered local school classes participate in educational workshops and cultural performances. The public is welcome during all open hours allowing students to share their stories with the community, however, visitors are asked to respect the privacy of the adjudication process. The fair ends with a closing ceremony and presentation of awards.
Projects are left on display at the museum for several days to allow greater access for the general public..
